Circa’s Principal Designer and all-encompassing design eye began her career in Interior Design in the 80’s. After providing years of slave labor to a talented designer, Traci decided that it was time to go out on her own. She quickly developed her own mountain modern design style and with sister Tiffany alongside, the two began remodeling homes in Sunriver. Some years later, Traci moved their office to
downtown Bend and began taking on much larger projects throughout Central Oregon, California, and the Portland area.
Few designers have the natural born talent to create style like Porterfield. As an artist who is globally inspired, Traci is a master of creating modern multicultural looks by mixing design influences from around the world. She enjoys designing custom furniture pieces, creating custom finishes and working with various types of metal and wood species. She is a believer that every project should be original, as
shown through carefully sourced antiques, art and custom furnishings. With a love for color contrast, organic materials, and bold aesthetic she is passion driven to create beautiful, timeless interiors.
Circa’s Senior Designer, Partner, and sister to Traci (most important) is our financial backbone. After graduating with a BA in Business from San Diego State University Tiffany joined sister Traci working for a local designer in Bend. It wasn’t long after she decided to partner with Traci and start their own business. 1 designer, 1 bookkeeper! It seemed like a genius idea at the time! As Circa began growing and taking on more projects Tiffany’s role began to incorporate more designing. With nearly 30 years as a business owner and secondary designer there isn’t anything Tiffany can not do! As Circa’s lead design arm Tiffany works closely with clients, builders, fabricators, furniture makers and vendors to ensure every project outcome is in line with the original vision. She believes that every home should be a sanctuary for loved ones to gather and create memories.
